Match the panel to the supporting frame and access condition
Hot-dip galvanized serrated steel bar grating panels are selected by the support arrangement, clear opening, and intended access condition. Where a project calls for a serrated walking surface, the requirement should be shown on the drawing together with the bearing-bar direction and panel edge detail.
Selection checklist
- Clear opening and support spacing for each panel location.
- Bearing-bar direction and cross-bar spacing.
- Whether a banded edge, angle frame, or removable panel arrangement is required.
- Galvanized finish requirement and any project-specific inspection points.
- Panel schedule, quantity, export packing method, and destination.
